What is a Spiritual Reading?
There are many different types of readings available. There are spiritual readings, psychic readings, intuitive readings, tarot readings and many more. But what are they really and how can they help you?
In the spiritual community, a reading is an offering by a practitioner of various modalities. These are the most common reading types:
- Psychic
- Mediumship
- Intuitive
- Energy or Aura
- Spirit or Soul
- Tarot
- Angel or oracle card
- Palm
- Astrology
- Numerology
Often these styles are combined together in an individual session depending on what the sitter or recipient is looking to achieve.
During my sessions, I may use cards or move into a psychic connection when needed to answer life questions. Or I will shift my awareness to the spirit world to connect with deceased loved ones and bring messages of love and healing. You can read about the differences between psychic and medium here .
Even in a spiritual coaching session, I’m tapping into multiple reading styles to offer guidance, advice or clarity.
These methods are all tools; tools used for creating, maintaining and interpreting a connection with Spirit, Soul self, or Source.
So, why get a reading of any kind?
The most common reasons to have a reading:
- Connection with deceased loved ones
- Guidance or advice
- Validation of life decisions
- Insight into the future
- Healing – physical and emotional
- Affirming your spiritual gifts
- Locate missing persons, animals or lost items
As a practitioner, sometimes I’m working to ease the easing grieving process by helping a client recognize that their loved one has not truly gone, they are still with us in spirit but have only transitioned to a non-physical state.
Sometimes, I’m facilitating their understanding of self as a spiritual being. Sometimes it’s help with life decisions.
No matter what, it’s always my primary goal to offer whatever healing and clarity my client needs most.
And ALWAYS, ALWAYS it’s to provide messages and information that come from Spirit to Me for You you in love.
