Follow these tips to best prepare for your energy healing session:
A little R&R
For at least 30 minutes prior to your session, take some time to just sit and relax. Meditate if you are comfortable doing so or simply sit and breathe deeply. This is important for both in-person and distant sessions. Remember, that just because you won’t be physically present at the time of your distant session, I will be linking with you energetically. For optimal results, find a quiet place where you can lie down. If it relaxes you, listen to soft music or light candles to create a peaceful atmosphere. Wear loose, non-restrictive clothing. Turn off any phones, TVs, and computers.
Give your body some attention
For a few days leading up to your appointment be sure to stay hydrated. It is recommended to avoid alcohol, recreational drugs, caffeine and sugar. This will be important protocol to follow for a few days after your session as well to allow for integration of the healing energy.
It’s all about intent
Knowing what you want the outcome to be of any healing is important. Ask yourself questions such as:
- What is my overall intention of this healing session?
- Does anything feel out of balance or just not quite right?
- What areas of my physical body require attention?
- What emotions am I feeling that I would like support or resolution of?
- How would I like to feel after this session?
If your healing is a distant session, I will ask you to provide this information via email prior to the session. If your session is in person, we will talk through these intentions at the time of your appointment.
The intent of this and every session I facilitate is for your highest and greatest good. So relax, let go of any expectations and just allow the energy to flow. Enjoy this beautiful gift that you’ve allowed yourself.
